Thanksgiving Pre-School show

Today Samantha had her fall program at Pre-school.  It was just precious.  They sang a few songs and one prayer.  I was so proud of her, she has really thrived at pre-school.  A few posts ago I said that I had one of her Halloween songs stuck in my head well now it's one of her Thanksgiving songs.  Here are the words to all of the curious:

I'm a little Indian on the go
Here is my arrow, here is my bow
When I go out hunting, hear me shout
BEARS AND BUFFALO'S YOU BETTER WATCH OUT!

I think I have video of them singing that song.  It is hard to understand them, but cute none the less. There are 3 video clips at the bottom, Enjoy!

Poop Party

Yesterday my youngest daughter won the most disgusting baby award.  I guess I should start at the beginning.  We were having a lazy Sunday afternoon.  Justin had even made a fire and we were all relaxing.  I look over at Alexandra and she is playing with what looks like a very puffy ankle.  I didn't want to get up from the couch so I said "Justin look at her does it look like she has a swollen ankle" and he said "no it's just her clothes."   She had some footy pajamas on.  Oh didn't I mention it was afternoon and we were all still in our pajamas?  Ya, none of us went to church yesterday.  I told you it was lazy and I have a cold.  Anyway back to the story.  I think my husband must be right and look back at the TV and then look back at her and tell him "I don't think it is her clothes", but she seems to be walking around ok.  So I decide that I better check her out I unzip her pj's and she is wearing no diaper, not where she should anyway it looks like we had put the diaper on her ankle, and she is absolutely covered in poop, all the way down to her ankle diaper.  At this point I am cracking up and I think Justin is about to throw up.  He is watching my every move hoping that I am not going to ask for any help with this yucky baby.  So I zipped her back up into her pj's and told her to go play.  I thought he was going to fall off the couch.  Needless to say we had early bath's yesterday.  When my children read this blog in the future I want both my daughters to know that to date Alexandra sweetheart you have won the disgusting award, your lucky that Mommy was here to clean you up and bathe you because I think Daddy would have taken you in the backyard and used the power washer!!!  Laf!  :)

Halloween and Camping

Ok I don't really have a good excuse for not blogging in a while.  We have been busy around here, but isn't everyone.  So like I said no good excuse!  :)  The girls have really been enjoying the fall weather.  They love to be doing anything outside...  They had a great time dressing up for Halloween, and got to go trick or treating a few times.  Alexandra was intimidated by a few costumes but overall for a 19 month old she was a good trick or treater.   Samantha got to do a trick or treat "parade" at pre-school and all the parents got to come back to their class and hear fall songs that they had learned.  I spent a whole month listening to her sing at the top of her lungs the following:
I'm a little pumpkin short and stout,
here is my handle here is my spout
When it's Halloween and you are out,
lift my lid and hear me shout, BOO!

We went camping with some friends this weekend to Robber's cave.  We had a really great time.  The girls got to make smores, ride bikes, and we did a couple of hikes.  It is really fun to hike up to the cave and play in it.  It isn't an easy hike for kids but they really did a good job.   Samantha absolutely loves camping and you know that she has had fun when she starts crying about having to go home.  It's good to know she wouldn't have a problem living out of our camper!  :)
