Happy

Well we are finally starting to get well around here....  Yippee!  We didn't go to church yesterday because we didn't want to put Ally in the nursery, but we did do lot's of running around.  It was nice to get out of the house.   After the girls took naps we went outside to let the girls do some swinging.  Alexandra swang forever and had such a ball.  Next was Samantha's turn and she absolutely loves swinging she sings and talks up a storm while doing it.  Well our neighbor was outdoor grilling and so Justin and Ally went over to talk to him.  So it was just Sam and I and as she was swinging away, she turned around and looked at me and said "Moma, I am so happy."  It was about the sweetest thing I have ever heard.  Oh to be a kid again...

Flu Bug

We as most of our family and friends know have had an awful winter for sickness.  It seems one of the girls gets sick and then we pass it to each other.  I thought that I had everyone well when 2 days ago Alexandra started running over a 102 degree temp.  I took her to the doctor this morning and she has the flu. Our whole family has been started on Tamiflu.  I guess it is supposed to help Alexandra get over it faster and the rest of us not to get it.  So here is to hoping that the stuff actually works.  So once again I have nothing interesting to post about us, I am just busy over here taking care of sick little ones.  Hope all of you stay well. 

 Also, everyone please continue to pray for Dan and Marleny, I know that several of you have said that you will, but it is such a difficult time for them and Marleny also has the flu so pray pray pray for that sweet family.

Wonderful News

Today we received the most wonderful news.  My sister in law, Nathalie had invitro done last week and we found out today that it worked and she is preggo.  She is due October 24th.  We have waited 3 1/2 years for this special day.  God is good.  We love you Nat and Eric!!!  Congrats!

Amen

I have a confession, I think my Alexandra is a boy in a adorable little girl body.  For about 6 weeks now she has been eating more at every single meal than Samantha and not by just a little bit. She eats everything you give her as fast as you put it on her tray.  Not only does she do it at this speed but she will eat the whole time I am making dinner and all the way through dinner and if you don't give it to her fast enough she starts yelling at you well it actually sounds like squawking.  Sometimes this eating can last for a whole hour.  Hello!!!  I seriously have never seen a baby eat like this.  I may have to send her to baby fat camp!!!  Laf!!  She used to have a little bit of separation anxiety from me and I would worry when I left that she would cry for Justin but now he just tells me "oh don't worry about it I know what to do if she starts getting upset, I will just cut up food and give it to her as fast as I can."  Sad but true!!  :)

So tonight I took Sam outside to swing and she has the best time doing that.  She always sings and laughs and is over all just hysterical while she is doing it.  We sang a couple of songs and then I told her let's count to 20, we have been trying to learn that without skipping numbers, so she says "ok" and at the top of her lungs she starts counting and it goes something like this "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,10,11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and that's all!!!  AMEN! "   She cracks me up.  Well I better run the super bowl is on commercial so it is time for me to watch!!  That's all people..... Amen.
